Adobe has released its Photoshop Elements 2019 and Premiere Elements 2019—photo and video editing softwares for users who wish to improve their images and videos with editing tools that are easy to use.

Both softwares carry a new ‘Home Screen’ that has information on the latest tools, editing suggestions for users to try, tutorials and inspirational ideas. They also have an ‘Auto Creations’ feature that provides auto-generated photo and video slideshows, powered by Adobe’s Sensei AI technology.

The Photoshop Elements 2019 offers improved photo collages, updated templates and backgrounds, which users can share on social media. It also has a series of guided edits that will help users through various creative tasks.

The software comes equipped with the multi-photo text option, designed to help users create visual text with a photo incorporated into each letter. Users can learn how to turn photos into memes that can be shared across social media.

The Premiere Elements 2019 has a redesigned ‘Quick Edit’ mode that helps users easily create movies. It comes with instructions on how to trim videos, combine clips, as well as add photos and music to films. ‘Glass Pane Effects’ and ‘Luna Fade Transitions’ are but some of the features that let users build dramatic scene transitions, for instance, through fading colors.

Photoshop Elements 2019 software can support HEIF images that are captured using the iPhone, while the Premiere Element 2019 supports HEIF, HEVC and VFR. Each software is retailing for US$99 on Adobe’s website. Users can purchase the bundle pack for US$149.99 and existing users can upgrade for US$79.99 for one software or US$119 for both.
