Why should Banksy’s Girl with Balloon—subsequently renamed to Love is in the Bin—have all the fun?

Belarus-based graphic designer Lesha Limonov has created an amusing set of postcards called ‘Hello From Banksy’, specially for the Rijksmuseum.

The idea stems from the anonymous British street artist’s world-famous art prank that took place during a live auction at Sotheby’s not long ago.

Banksy’s print had passed through a shredder, hidden within its frame, mere seconds after it was sold for US$1.4 million. The incident not only captured the attention of the art world, but also that of brands including McDonald’s.

Each ‘Hello from Banksy’ postcard features a retractable art masterpiece that can be pulled from the base to reveal the sender’s message. The cards are selling online at US$9.99.
