Yesterday, you saw the outrageously creative “headless” Halloween costume that won the internet and Kylie Jenner’s Barbie doll rendition that shows, “Life in plastic, it’s fantastic.”

Adding to this year’s list of noteworthy Halloween getups are these impressive looks inspired by world-famous artworks.

The masquerades were worn by students of Tokyo-based special effects makeup as well as body- and face-paint artist Amazing JIRO, at Japan’s largest Halloween parade held in the city of Kawasaki.

The budding artists attend AMAZING SCHOOL JUR that specializes in the art of special effects makeup.

The recreations include Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vincent van Gogh’s Self Portrait, Edvard Munch’s Scream, Pablo Picasso’s The Weeping Woman, Johannes Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, and the botched Ecce Homo restoration.

Check out the amazing recreations inside the video below and see more creativity on Instagram via @amazing_jiro and @amazing.school.jur.
