Not many brands are as deeply anchored into Christmas culture as UK department store John Lewis.
Each year, the high-end chain presents an unforgettable holiday ad that tugs at the heartstrings of not just its customers, but also those of viewers the world over. John Lewis has thus succeeded in getting its audience to anticipate its ads during the festive period.
Perhaps to tease the release of its 2018 Christmas commercial, John Lewis has switched the logo of its flagship location in Oxford Street to just read, “John.”
The rumor mill has been chirping that English music legend Sir Elton John might sing in the brand’s holiday advert this year, and the timely “rebrand” could have confirmed these reports.
So far, John Lewis has kept mum about the possible partnership, but you’ll soon find out if the festive season of 2018 might be the most musical one ever.
